Master of Arts in Human Rights and Sustainability (MAHRS) is the Academy's recent MA Programme in the field of "Human Rights and Sustainability" that will enroll a total of up to 20 students.

Established to increase the promotion and protection of human rights and democracy in the region, the programme offers a rich portfolio of educational and research activities.
GC Caucasus
The programme serves as a crucial education and research hub for stakeholders involved in the promotion of democracy and protection of human rights in the Caucasus.

The programme provides a unique postgraduate opportunity that combines experiential learning and research in human rights and democratisation in Latin America and the Caribbean.
GC Arab World
A unique example in the region, this programme develops a theoretical understanding of the main issues affecting the Arab World and equips students with substantial practical skills.

Due to my long-term interest in international law and human rights, I am very happy that I had the opportunity to take part in the EMA programme. First of all, I believe that the concept of the first semester, when EMA students are based on the Lido island in Venice and the best human rights academics as well as practitioners are coming to Venice to share their knowledge with them, is truly unique.
