Between 2005 and 2010 he served as Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Commerce and Worship of Argentina. In 2015 he was elected to the Parliament of MERCOSUR and he chaired that body during 2016.

He has shared his expertise in international affairs in numerous conferences and publications around the world. He has also been distinguished and decorated by several countries and institutions.

She has been a Principal Specialist at the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights of the Organization of American States in Washington, D.C. and has contributed to State policies on human rights vis-a-vis the United Nations as an advisor at the Human Rights Directorate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Commerce and Worship of Argentina.

She is a Professor at the University of San Martin (UNSAM) in Argentina and she is a guest lecturer in academic institutions worldwide. She is a recognised expert in the area of the international protection of human rights and the Inter-American System.

Since 2011 she has been engaged in shaping all academic and networking dimensions of Global Campus Latin America and CIEP-UNSAM. She is President of the Global Campus of Human Rights.

She was elected as one of the Judges of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights (2022-2027)

She is a Government Economist experienced in international, bilateral and multilateral cooperation and management of international grants.

Until 2011 she was responsible for EU and Ibero-America cooperation and was the Director of the EU Political Dialogues Support Programme and the Spanish-Argentine Program on Governance and Administration at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Argentina.

Since 2011 she has been engaged in creating and shaping all managerial, financial and administrative dimensions of Global Campus Latin America and CIEP-UNSAM.

His research focus is on political theory and philosophy and he also has wide experience on applied research and the use of qualitative and quantitative methodology for the collection, systematization and analysis of data. He has experience in advising and evaluating projects relating to good practices in the area of public and civil society assistance to vulnerable communities, with an interdisciplinary approach.

Since 2011 he has held a number of responsibilities at CIEP-UNSAM including Academic Coordination, support in the area of research methodology, coordination of LATMA’s participation and hosting of the Global Classroom, and representation of Global Campus Latin America at the Academic Affairs Committee of the Global Campus of Human Rights.

He has extensive professional experience in the private and public sectors, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Argentina. He also has experience in evaluating and auditing the electronic electoral system with emphasis on performance, failures and delays and their possible solutions.

His main expertise is in the application of standards and procedures for the execution of international cooperation projects granted by the UNDP, IDB, World Bank and the European Commission.

Her research focus is epistemology, research methodology and social movements. She is a Lecturer at the University of Buenos Aires´ Social Sciences School and at UNSAM´s School of Politics and Government.

Since 2012 she has been CIEP-UNSAM’s coordinator for publications. She is part of the academic team that provides support in the area research methodology.

She is an Alumni of the Master’s in Human Rights and Democratization in Latin America and the Caribbean (LATMA). She is currently pursuing a Master’s of Children's Rights from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.

Between 2015 and 2018 she was National Department Chief for Access to Justice and Legal Pluralism at the Council of the Judicial Branch in Ecuador. She is an experienced international consultant and researcher in the area of access to justice, human rights, children and adolescents.

Since 2019 she is a researcher for special projects at CIEP-UNSAM.

She has extensive experience in the public and private sectors. She had been an auditor and inspector in the provincial public sphere.

Her main expertise is the development and design of procedures for the acquisition of goods and services, their analysis, control in accordance with the applicable regulatory framework, and accounting.
