New EIUC Secretary General: Prof. Florence Benoît-Rohmer

The EIUC President and Board are pleased to announce the appointment of Prof. Florence Benoît-Rohmer of the Université Robert Schuman, Strasbourg, as new EIUC Secretary General. Prof. Benoît-Rohmer took up this function beginning on 1 January 2009.

High-level workshop on human rights diplomacy

EIUC, the Human Rights Law Centre of the University of Nottingham, and the Adam Mickiewicz University of Poznan are jointly organising a high-level workshop on human rights diplomacy, which will take place in the Monastery of San Nicolò on Friday and Saturday, 30-31 January 2009.

On 30-31 January 2009, EIUC was host to a high-level workshop on human rights diplomacy, which had been jointly organised by Dr. George Ulrich of EIUC, Prof. Michael O’Flaherty of the University of Nottingham Human Rights Law Centre, and Prof. Dzidek Kedzia of the Adam Mickiewicz University of Poznan.
