Art 4 Human Rights Seasonal Crowdfunding Campaign

The Global Day of Giving kicks off a season of togetherness and giving, this is why we are launching our campaign on this particular period. We invite you to support our Art 4 Human Rights seasonal campaign through donations and a with shared hope for new beginnings.

Art can only flourish in an atmosphere of freedom from fear, violence and repression. Democratic societies based on human rights provide the best institutional framework in which arts can thrive and artists are protected against repression and persecution.

At the same time, the universal language of the arts, which attracts and empowers human beings around the globe more than any other means of communication, is the most powerful and joyful medium to promote the universal values of human rights. Yet, human rights and democracy are under stress.

A new year is approaching in quite difficult times due to the COVID-19 emergency and where online activities are essential to remain united.

By supporting our crowdfunding campaign, you will help us organise the Global Campus of Human Rights #Art4HumanRights seasonal online activities for 2021 and give the opportunity of expression to artists/activists and the members of our vast academic network.
