The Master´s in Human Rights and Democratisation in Latin American and the Caribbean (LAT.MA) has opened its call for applications for the academic cycle 2018/2019.

LAT.MA is an intensive ten-month programme (October 2018 - August 2019) offered in Buenos Aires, Argentina, by a network of universities from Latin America with unique interdisciplinary and regional perspectives on human rights and democracy. LAT.MA’s faculty includes prestigious academics from Latin America and other regions of the world as well as experts from intergovernmental, international, governmental and non-governmental organizations.

To enrich the educational experience, LAT.MA conducts a field visit to an indigenous community; and administers an electronic platform to share views on current human rights issues (www.diagonalciep.org).

LAT.MA offers a unique connection with perspectives and experiences from other regions of the world: students participate in joint activities with the rest of the regional programmes of the Global Campus of Human Rights.

LAT.MA offers financial assistance to students in order to ensure diversity and full immersion in the Master’s studies.
