EIUC Secretary General

Dr. George Ulrich has been the Secretary General of EIUC since 2003 but has acted as Academic Coordinator of the E.MA Programme since 2001.

His tasks as the EIUC Secretary General are mainly concentrated on the management of the Centre and on supervising the efficient running of the numerous activities organised by EIUC and E.MA.

Dr Ulrich has a Ph.D.in Philosophy from the University of Toronto and a Cand.Mag in Social Anthropology and History of Ideas from Aarhus University, Denmark. He is a frequent guest lecturer at the University of Copenhagen and elsewhere in Denmark and abroad. Before moving to Venice, he worked as a Senior Researcher at the Danish Centre for Human Rights and as a Research Fellow at the Institute of Anthropology at the University of Copenhagen.
