Global Campus exchange of lecturers

Between 16-19 December 2016, Prof. Frans Viljoen, Director of the Centre for Human Rights of the University of Pretoria and head of the African Programme on Human Rights and Democratisation, offered two lectures on the African System of Human Rights for the students of the Latin American Programme on Human Rights and Democratisation, in Buenos Aires. Prof. Viljoen´s classes explored the situation of human rights in Africa and the role of the African System´s institutions –in particular the Commission and the Court— and their interpretation of the African Charter on Human and People´s Rights. These lectures are part of the exchange of professors and researchers of the Global Campus of Human Rights.
