8-10/XI/2012: Training for International Electoral Observers
EIUC's first Training Seminar for International Electoral Observers took place in Venice Lido (Italy) from 8 till 10 November 2012.
The course aimed at providing training to civilian staff that wanted to deepen their knowledge in the field of election observation. The content of the course covered issues such as the role, the tasks and the status of international observers. The seminar provided a theoretical and practical training on election observation and election observation missions functioning.
Ferdinando Lajolo, Demetrio Lazagna, Naledi Lester, Marco Montanari and Kerstin Oudekki Loone were the international trainers and experts composing the faculty of this training seminar.
Among the 30 participants coming from different academic and working backgrounds there were also 15 E.MAlumni representing different academic years.
