Invitation to the opening of the Arab Master in Democracy and Human Rights

The Political Science Institute has the honour to invite you to the opening of the Arab Master in Democracy and Human Rights at Saint Joseph University in Beirut, on the 27 October at 11 am.

The Opening of the Master program will take place under the patronage of the Minister of Education Marwan Hamade and in presence of the Ambassador of the European Union Christina Lassen, the Regional Representative of the Higher Commissioner for Human Rights, Abdel Salam Sidahmed, partners, and distinguished guests.

The Master is part of a global network of regional programmes in Europe, South East Europe, Latin America, Africa, Asia, and Caucasus which are supported by the European Inter-University Centre for Human Rights and Democratisation (EIUC)

Given the importance of Democracy and Human Rights in our region and in our country, this Master can be a pillar for change and a valuable source of expertise in the field of Democratic Governance. It is in this spirit that we hope to collaborate with public and international organisations and reach out to civil society.
