Meetings with Mary Robinson, EIUC Honorary President

Ms Mary Robinson, EIUC Honorary President, participated in a series of meetings with Prof. Horst Fischer, EIUC President, high level representatives of the EU institutions as well as EIUC Board and E.MA Executive Committee members, professors and E.MA graduates. The first meeting took place at the European Parliament in Brussels on 9 June with the Sub-Committee of Human Rights on the campaign "Everybody has Rights".

On 10 June, Ms Robinson participated in another interesting debate with the EIUC Board and E.MA Executive Committee members during a meeting devoted to the Human Rights Challenges for Research, Teaching and Institutions. Prof. Fischer presented EIUC objectives, activities and challenges to Ms Robinson and to high officials of the European Commission (Ms Sari Suomalainen, Head of Unit, Directorate General EuropeAid - AIDCO; Mr. Rolf Timans, Head of the Human Rights and Democratisation Unit, Directorate General External Relations - RELEX; Mr. Victor Losada Gonzales, Assistant Programme Manager, Directorate General EuropeAid - AIDCO).
