Presentation of the Italian Yearbook of Human Rights 2011 at the Council of Europe in Strasbourg

On 14 June Prof. Florence Benoit-Rohmer, EIUC Secretary General, has been invited by Ambassador Sergio Busetto, Permanent Representative of Italy to the Council of Europe, to participate in the presentation of the Italian Yearbook of Human Rights 2011 just published by Peter Lang Ltd (Oxford). The Yearbook is the first volume in a series edited by the Centre for Human Rights and the Rights of Peoples of the University of Padua (Italy) under the coordination of Prof. Antonio Papisca, Emeritus Professor and Holder of the UNESCO Chair in "Human rights, Democracy and Peace" at the University of Padua.

Prof. Benoit-Rohmer will pay tribute to Prof. Papisca, founder of the European Master’s Degree in Human Rights and Democratisation (E.MA). Several high representatives of the Council of Europe and of the European Court of Human Rights will contribute in the discussion that will follow the presentation of the Yearbook.
