Prof. Dr. Horst Fischer elected to the Board of the German Red Cross

On 13 November 2009 Prof. Dr. Horst Fischer , EIUC President, was elected to the Board of the German Red Cross. The 130 members of the Assembly voted unanimously. The German Red Cross is one of the major organisations worldwide. Prof Dr. Horst Fischer is appointed as a federal convention representative. The federal convention contributes to the spreading of humanitarian international law, one of the statutory tasks of the relief organisation.
