Prof. Endre SIK is EIUC visiting professor in July 2009

Sik, Endre (60) Dsc (sociology), professor at the Department of Minority Studies (ELTE University, Budapest) visited EIUC in July. During his stay he worked on the methodological problems of measuring the extent of discrimination with a special focus on discrimination testing as a promising technique. His research is especially relevant in the light of the new development of this field in the EU (an outcome of the evaluations commissioned during the EYEO in 2007).
