The Global Campus Alumni (GCA) Mentoring Programme: Want to develop your career further?
The Global Campus Alumni (GCA) has launched the Global Campus Alumni (GCA) Mentoring Programme which aims to benefit both people in the mentoring relationship: mentees and mentors. Mentoring can have a positive influence on mentees and mentors in areas of professional development, productivity and promotion.
From one side, mentors could have the opportunity to build leadership and management skills, gain insights and different perspectives from future members of their profession or establish an enduring career network. On the other side, mentees are able to learn from someone who has travelled the path before them, enhances networking opportunities, develop new skills and expertise or enhance career direction and advancement.
This year’s round of the Global Campus Alumni (GCA) Mentoring Programme is currently open and will accept registration until 26 November 2014.
Anyone with a relevant background and an interest in human rights can become a Mentor but you have to be a Global Campus Alumni (GCA) to become a Mentee. The Global Campus Mentoring Programme is free for participants and is coordinated by a Central coordinating team.
Participants to the programme will be able to access peer support through an online forum on the E.MAlumni website and will receive updates about good practice as well as links to useful resources. Upon submission of a mentoring agreement and report participants will also receive a certificate.
