The third edition of the GC Classroom on “The impact on human rights of foreign debt and economic crises”
On this occasion, the students from 5 different continents (Europe, South America, Africa, South-East Pacific and Caucasus) together with professors from all programmes involved, will have the opportunity to take part in an international and multicultural event and fully exploit the potential for learning and research of an unique international forum of discussion on the impact of external debt and economic crisis on human rights.
Moreover, the discussions will be enriched with the participation of special lecturers such as Prof. Cephas Lumina, the former UN Independent Expert on the effects of foreign debt and other related international financial obligations of States on the full enjoyment of all human rights, particularly economic, social and economic rights".
The Global Classroom has been developed to launch an ongoing process of networking, information sharing and knowledge building to reinforce the integration of the Master’s Programmes and Diplomas in Human Rights and Democratisation sponsored by the European Union under the aegis of the Global Campus (GC).
