The visit was financially supported by International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) an international, non-profit organization whose goal is supporting citizens’ right to participate in free and fair elections through the strengthening of electoral systems and building local capacity to deliver sustainable solutions.

Thanks to this fruitful meeting, EIUC and HNEC work together on a Memorandum of Understanding on possible joint activities related to democracy promotion, good governance and democratic rights. At the same time, EIUC closely with IFES prepare a Memorandum of Understanding in order to train Libyan officials in the future.

In view of the unanimous agreements reached in the negotiations on Training for International Electoral Observers, the EIUC would like to thank the participation and contribution made towards the success of EIUC training seminar for International Short-Term Observers.
