As an educational institution, the word “homework” is very familiar to the Global Campus of Human Rights. Being headquartered in Italy we can say that taking care of our homework, and literally from home, is precisely what we are currently doing. And we do it with the full commitment we’ve always shown to our global community.
The Regional launch and Open Forum on “Enacting the Recommendations in the UN Global Study on Children Deprived of Liberty in the National Agenda: Actions for East Asia Countries” will take place in Bangkok on 19 February 2020 with the support of the Global Campus Asia Pacific coordinated by Mahidol University, Thailand. The focus of this event is to discuss how to effectively implement the recommendations of the UN Global Study on Children Deprived of Liberty from a regional perspective.
We are excited to announce this call for papers to the Global Campus Human Rights Journal Special Issue on Children’s Rights. We welcome multi-disciplinary articles between 6000 and 8000 words (references included) in English, French and Spanish.
As part of the Global Campus EU-funded capacity building project for the development of human rights education at the National University of Timor Leste, a special event was organised at the premises of the new Human Rights Center in Dili, together with the Delegation of the EU and the Global Campus Alumni association to celebrate the Human Rights Day, on 10 December 2019.
The Global Campus International Conference will take place on 9 December 2019 at the seat of the Global Campus Africa, University of Pretoria, South Africa. The focus of this conference is on how to effectively implement the recommendations of the UN Global Study on Children Deprived of Liberty from a regional perspective.
