Policy Observatory Project
The policy observatory project aims to enhance the role of the Global Campus and its regional members in undertaking coordinated research initiatives and providing guidance and expert opinions in response to urgent human rights issues to a broad primary and secondary audience. It foresees the creation of a virtual hub, which will include participation of researchers from each of the seven regions for the production of a set of complementary policy analyses on assigned topics.
The main aims of this activity are as follows:
- To produce specific policy messages and influence key stakeholders
- To show responsiveness to current challenges to human rights in the different Global Campus regions and globally
- To tap into the wide range of expertise within the global/regional/local networks
- To facilitate a continuous engagement of graduates and experts associated with the Global Campus by involving talented policy analysts in the project
