Listen to the Interview with Askold Kurov who remembered that now it has been four years since Oleg Sentsov was sentenced in Russia. This is a long time and it is very easy to be forgotten after many years. Oleg Sensov became not only a symbol of all Ukrainian political prisoners but a symbol of all political prisoners in Russia and this is why it is very important to keep focus on this problem, to encourage everybody to learn more about this case, and to call for joining the campaign #FreeSentsov and spread the word.

If you want to support this campaign, the Global Campus of Human Rights will organise the Press Conference “We stand with the Sakharov Prize Oleg Sentsov: Join Askold Kurov at the Venice Film Festival”, which will take place on Thursday, 29 August 2019 at 10 am, at Hotel Excelsior, Lungomare Guglielmo Marconi, 41 (Lido di Venezia) within the events hosted by Regione del Veneto.
